Allthough I normally scrap LOs about my son, this challenge was difficult for me. Perhaps because it really made me think hard about what I put on a LO :D But it was great, and I love this challenge ... actually I think it was one of the best ;o)
The challenge was to create a masculine LO with a few flourishes - without it loosing its masculinity. I interpreted the flourishes freely, so that it is not flowers, but doodling and swirls (which I don't use often as I find it quite diffcult). I also tried using the technique fancycutting - another rarity on my LOs. Here is my take:
Credits: PP; Treasure Map - Sandy Lion, Mellow/Juicy + savory - Basic Grey, Cardstock: White - prismatics. Vinyl thickers letters (black & red) - American Crafts. Childrens Pirate Stickers - Z Design, Skull Magnet (taken from our fridge :D ), Hand doodling/swirling. The idea for the skies and flashes I "Borrowed". Title says: The Buccaneer Pirate.
